The other radiant city

As France considers reviving its nuclear program, what can we learn from audiovisual archives documenting its initial deployment in the 1950s? Which regions were mobilized to accommodate the workforce of this state-owned industry, and what fate awaited them? While some of the buildings designed for this purpose are now being demolished, images from a 1959 promotional film project offer a glimpse into the origins of this park and invite us to question the developments envisaged today.
